Backup Monitoring
Monitoring:
7 x 24 backup activity on supported software, tape media rotation plan, tape media and mass storage device capacity and performance monitoring (depending on vendor software and version used)
Daily Review and Reporting:
Review scheduled overnight backup operations and notify client of any backup failures including failure due to incorrect media
File Restoration:
Perform file restores from previous successful backups on request
Quarterly Testing:
Test restoring random selected files from backup
Monthly Reporting: Inclusion of data storage and backup availability and performance with Totality monthly reports.
Change Control:
Adherence to Totality change management processes for changes performed by DTSL Service Engineers on backup systems.
Remediation
Maintenance:
General backup and storage administration and support required to maintain ‘Business as Usual’ performance of backup systems
Diagnostics and Remediation:
Investigate, remediate and re-run any failed backups during the next business day. (Please note: remediation on backup devices in relation to changes made by non-DTSL personnel are not included in the monthly fee)

Totality Homedrive provides secure cloud filesharing for your business. All files stored within a HomeDrive folder are encrypted and password-protected on your local drive and are only made visible when you log into the HomeDrive application.
HomeDrive’s Theftguard feature allows you to remotely wipe files from the local drive if your laptop is ever lost or stolen. You can also see when new files are created, modified, deleted or downloaded by other users.
